My husband and I would love to foster pits. We have a 1 year old and she is the best dog ever. We have the time, patience, and all the love in the world. Please feel free to contact me at 309-361-2026.
I have just found your web page and very impressed with the message that you are sending out. Four years ago I ended up with a Pit mix that the universe seemed to plop in my life. At first I was a bit concerned about how this breed with interact with my daughter but she desparately needed a home so I took the chance on this 6 month old street dog. When I brought her into my home for the first time she acted so loving and thankful to even be “inside” and we have gone completly up hill from that moment on with her. Her name is Sadie and she is the smartest dog I have ever owned. Her love and loyalty has been astonishing at times and she loves and protects my daughter above all in so many loving ways. Since I first got her I have learned how loyal and loving these dogs can be and have realized myself how misjudged they really are. I do have to admit, however, that sometimes I enjoy the look of their “so called” mean package when she is with my daughter. Sadie’s looks alone tend to back off strangers and I like that where my daughter is concerned. Little do they know my dog would probably just lick them to death!
I hope that your message reaches many new subscribers and other people who might not necessarily pick this breed or give one a chance by saving one of them some insight and help to see their true loving nature. I look forward to following the great works of the cause.
We saw a guy in a dark red car lic# 47? NF? throw a puppy out of his car about two months ago we took her home had all her shots done, spayed her, potty trained her. She is great with my kids and other pets but, we have Five other dogs and it is just to many and not fair she doesn’t get the attention she needs we are looking for a great home for her. She is about 9 months old, white Pit Bull.
