She Wasn't Supposed to Make It.
On March 14, 2015, Tino's pit bull Shorty was diagnosed with lymphoma. The vet gave her eight weeks to live. No chemo. Tino and his friend Jesse from The Healing Project OC put her on a cannabis oil protocol — CBD, THC tinctures, and Full Extract Cannabis Oil (FECO) — dosed precisely for her weight and diagnosis.
Five years later, on the exact anniversary of her diagnosis, Tino recorded a video. Shorty was still alive, still giving kisses, with bloodwork her vet described as: "This does not look like a dog who has cancer."
